Divisions

EMSPAC has multiple divisions. Each elects a division lead to represent their state system issues to the Steering Committee.

How divisions work

EMSPAC has multiple divisions. Each has elected one division lead to represent their state system issues to the Steering Committee, until they form their own on a state or regional level.

Each division is usually a county, borough or parish, broken up into subunits led by a deputy per agency. Advocates represent their stations, garages or bases at a ratio of 30 workers to one advocate.

Divisions may choose to become allied and confederated chapters by establishing their own state-level incorporation and governance, and codifying a local mission-charter.

All divisions and chapters maintain interoperability and democratic governance, and are united behind the 25 articles of the EMS Bill of Rights. Divisions are under the governance of our bylaws until they incorporate at state level and draft their own.

Start a division

It is time to organize nationwide. Form EMSPAC chapters. Join and revitalize existing unions. Demand real representation and dignity at work. If there is no division where you work, get in touch and we will help you stand one up.

Membership is free · No dues, no fees

Organize where you work.

EMSPAC is all-active-duty and all-volunteer. Joining is what lets us respond to hardships, push advocacy, and build a national organization around our demands.
